Late 18th and Early 19th Centuries

Federal-style mouldings were typically painted and reflected details of classical architecture, with slender proportions and symmetry.  Accents in this style include ogee, ovolo and bead and quirk.  Swags, busts and urns are typical Federal-style ornamental details.

See the individual mouldings and specifications for further information.  See the Federal style mouldings: casing, base, chair rail, or crown.
