Colonial Style Mouldings
Colonial
18th Century
Influenced largely by the styles and woodworking techniques of England, Colonial-style mouldings were large and built up with bold details. Colonial woodworkers utilized ogee, fillets and coves that were more easily crafted in limited wood shops.
See the individual mouldings and specifications for further information. See the Colonial style mouldings: casing, base, chair rail, or crown.
