This is a close up view of our mortise and tenon construction. The tenon or tongue of the rail (left) sticks into the mortise or pocket in the stile (right).

In this wider view notice the black rubber spacers in the panel groove. This allows for expansion and contraction of the panel, yet it keeps the panel in its proper position.

Here is an exploded view of the parts of a door.

This photograph shows the construction of our engineered stiles. Our stiles are made of a laminated hardwood core to reduce warping. They are then covered with the customer's choice of a wood skin.

Above is a sectional view of an exterior door. Notice the two layered panel with the foil vapor barrier in between. Also note the insulating weather barrier spacer in the panel groove.
